Step 1

Step 1: Create or import graphic files

Import our graphics and adapt them to your preferences. Then send the graphics to your Trotec laser using the following settings:

Step 2

Step 2: Laser process TroCraft Eco

Place the TroCraft Eco sheet into the new Trotec Speedy 400 and cover the remaining engraving area. Thanks to the new OptiMotion™ path planning function, the cutting speed will automatically adapt to the geometry being cut. The parameters can vary depending on the laser machine used and the available laser power:

Tip:

Thanks to the new OptiMotion™ function, determining cutting parameters with the new Speedy400 is child's play. Define the right speed at 100% power simply by means of a long straight line. If the parameter cuts through at the selected speed, you can adopt this setting for any cutting application on this material - whether large, angular shapes or detailed, small circular geometries. Just make sure that you adjust the frequency accordingly at high speeds (e.g. to 2000Hz or 3000Hz) to obtain a uniform cutting line.

Step 3: Assemble the rocking chair

Put the three parts of the rocking chair together, and the model building rocking chair is ready.

Step 1: Create or import graphic files

Import the graphics template into your chosen design software. Feel free to edit them to suit. Simply print the file to your Trotec laser with the following suggested settings:

Step 2: Laser process TroCraft Eco

Place the TroCraft Eco sheet onto the bed of the new Trotec Speedy 400 with the cutting table in place. To improve the quality of the finished project, cover the remaining engraving area for cleaner cuts. The quality is further boosted with the new OptiMotion™ path planning function, which adjusts the cutting speed automatically to adapt to the geometry being cut. The parameters may vary depending on the laser machine used and the available laser power:

Tip:

Thanks to the new OptiMotion™ function, it's easy to determine the cutting parameters for the the new Speedy400. To find the right parameter, test at 100% speed. When the setting cuts through at the selected speed, this is the right setting to use for any projects using this material. This means the parameter will still offer the same quality cut result on angular shapes or detailed, small circular geometries. We reccomend that you compensate for the high speeds by adjusting the frequency (e.g. to 2000Hz or 3000Hz) to ensure a clean cut line.

Step 3: Assemble the rocking chair

Simply assemble the three components and you've created your own rocking chair model.
