You are free to use any graphics software you want with our machines, provided it can print via the printer driver of your operating system. Depending on your software, pre-settings are required to work the laser machine. Here, you can find all the suitable graphics programs and file formats.
When using your laser machine, it is possible to process both pixel-based (Photoshop) and vector-based (CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator) graphics. Both formats are suitable for laser engraving and marking. However, if you wish to laser cut, you'll need to have a vector based graphics program on hand.
Here, you can find common file formats to use with your laser machine:
File Type | File Extension |
---|---|
Vector | *.cdr, *.ai, *.svg |
Bitmap / Raster | *.cpt, *.ps, *.bmp, *.jpg, *.tiff, *.gif, *.png |
Compound | *.pdf, *.eps |
Office | *.doc, *.docx,*.xls, *.xlsx |
CAD & 3D Design | *.dxf, *.dwg, *.3dm |
The following table lists all the popular software packages that are used to operate our laser machines. Please note that individual programs may have limitations regarding some of the supported functions within the laser machine.

In the professional field, software including AutoCAD® / SolidWorks® is widely used for precise cutting with your laser machine.
Yes. With the JobControl software for flatbed lasers, you can use the standard serial printing capabilities of your graphics or office software to output lists in the correct format.
In the galvo area, the Speedmark marking software offers the possibility of creating serial numbers or codes with consecutive, freely definable numbers. In addition, the software provides special features for the smooth import of external data to use them for plain text or for e.g. barcode or data matrix output.
If you have any further questions about the compatibility of your graphics program, we are always happy to help in any way we can. You can also contact us if you're using older / speciality software versions, including school and university licences.
