My profession:
Storage Worker - Packaging

Employed with Trotec since:
March 2015

My personal work motto:
I only go home when the job's done!

This is how I would describe my job to a friend:

I'm responsible for packaging the laser machines. They are packed in wooden crates. Trotec is a cool company, and I enjoy working here.

I spend most of my work day...

…packaging laser machines.

The coolest thing about my job is...

...the team work. We get on really well and have a lot of fun at work. There's also a lot of team spirit – we always help each other out if the need arises.

After he had closed the driver's door, the truck has locked. The driver then did not get into his truck and had to get a replacement key from the head office. For over an hour our loading ramp was blocked and we had to load the other trucks with the truck. I always used to wonder why truck drivers keep their doors open - now I know why :-)"
- A funny anecdote from my work life - Gökhan Boylu -

The thing I appreciate most about Trotec is:

Great value is placed on employees here. Both in terms of how people deal with one another at work (appreciation and respect) and as regards basic conditions at the company (BistroTec with lunch, coffee machine, snack bar, etc.)

Something personal about myself:

I live in Wels, so luckily I don't have far to go to get to work. My grandfather was one of the first Turks to come to Wels. Now we're a proper big family here – counting all the uncles, aunts, cousins, etc., there are about 150 of us.
