Decorate champagne glasses for special events like weddings or anniversaries. We have used a 21 cl (7 1/4 oz) standard glass plus the rotary attachment.
  • Laser engraving champagne glasses

    Materials needed: 

      • 10 ¼ oz glass ( 31 cl)

    Machines possible: Rayjet, Speedy 100, Speedy 300, Speedy 500

    Laser engraving glass requires medium power, so you can start with any 25

    Watt CO2 laser system

     

    Machine used: Speedy 300 25 watts

    Special notes:

    Using a 2” lens instead of a 1.5” lens reduced the cracks in the glass.

  • Laser engraving champagne glass step 1 

    Step 1: 

    Put the cylindrical engraving device into the laser and switch the laser on. Mount the glass into the rotary engraving device and focus on the spot where you wish to engrave. If you use tapered glass, incle the left part of the cylindrical engraving device until the surface to be engraved is horizontal.
     
  • Laser engraving champagne glass step 2 

    Step 2: 

    Open the file “Champagne glass” and send it to the laser. Make sure to activate the

    “Rotary Engraving” function in the driver and insert the correct diameter of the

    glass. Then start the engraving. Below are the parameters for raster engraving:

    Speed: 20 %

    Power: 10 %

    Resolution: 500 dpi
