Speedy 400 

At Paperworld 2012, Trotec presents the new Speedy 400 for the first time. The working area of 39 x 24 inches (1000 x 610 mm) allows to handle the most common standard material sizes with the new flatbed laser. The laser engraving machine is a perfect extension to the Speedy family, between the platform sizes Speedy 300 and Speedy 500. When developing the laser machine, the Trotec team had especially an eye on usability, economics and flexibility. The proven and successful Speedy characteristics reach a new level with the Speedy 400. 

The working area of the Speedy 400 has been optimized for perfect material use. For example, standard formats of laminates, acrylics and paper are covered. This saves time and money because no pre-cutting is needed.

Together with the Speedy 400, the innovation leader Trotec introduces the new version of the laser software JobControl. Not only a new design, but even more impressive new features will delight the modern laser user. The Job Time Calculator is a unique and practical tool for planning laser engraving and cutting time. The latest release of Trotec’s laser software JobControl includes this new feature, calculating processing time before starting a laser job. The Job Time Calculator perfectly supports Trotec laser users when handling orders. Moreover, materials and favourites can be organized with only a few clicks.

With the innovative table design, changing of the working tables is as easy as never before. Depending on the application the laser user can add the optimum table. The choice includes: A standard table for engraving jobs, a honeycomb grid for cutting small parts or a cutting table for intricate cutting jobs. For processing thin and light materials such as paper, cardboard, films or foils a vacuum table would be the perfect choice.

Every Speedy 400 is “ready for flexx”. This means that a Speedy 400 can be upgraded with an additional laser source at any time to a Speedy 400 flexx. This allows maximum flexibility for the user. The Speedy 400 is growing with the customer’s business, the upgrade is possible at any time. The user decides, when.
